How to Glitter Pinecones for Holiday Decorations

I have a love for gold, glitter, and DIY, so I thought it would be fun to do a little project to add to my Christmas decor this year. My mom recently purchased glittered pinecones and that pretty much inspired me to do them myself. They came out so pretty – I love them! They are super easy to do, even for a person new to DIY! Here is all that you will need: pinecones – I purchased a bag of these at Michael’s, Recollections Gold Glitter, a paint brush and Mod Podge.

Step 1: Brush mod podge onto any area of the pinecone that you want glitter on.

Step 2: Sprinkle gold glitter onto pinecone

Step 3: Shake off excess glitter and let it dry!

Some of my pinecones have glitter practically everywhere and some I just sparkled out the tips/edges. Either way, they look great!

I displayed my pinecones on a glass cake stand with a cute little owl!

I am really happy with the way everything turned out!! The gold tree on the other cake stand was white and I decided to glitter that out too!
